Brad Miller, Lead Photographer
Brad Miller has worked for several years as a professional photographer. He has captured images covering NASCAR, PGA and LPGA golf as well as the National Football League. Before launching Ohio Valley Photo, Brad worked as a staff photographer for The Daily Jeffersonian, where he covered hundreds of area high school varsity sporting events. Brad also served as Photo Editor for the Weekly Sports Gazette.
Brad has also spent many years in the arena of custom graphic design, acting as webmaster and designer of the official websites of athletes such as Olympic Champion Tara Lipinski, NFL Quarterback Kordell Stewart and LPGA champion Jennifer Rosales.
Brad graduated in the class of 1987 from Meadowbrook High School and is a lifelong resident of Southeastern Ohio. Brad currently resides in Byesville with his wife Tracy, sons Joshua and Kirk, and two cats.
Phil Woodard, Lead Photographer
Phil is a 1988 graduate of Shenandoah High School. He is very familiar with the local athletic programs having achieved a high level of experience at many different varsity sports while attending Shenandoah. He is a 1992 Graduate of Muskingum College where he also participated in athletics. While at Muskingum, he received specialized training in both radio and television and was a camera man for the weekly news cast from the college. He has photographed many teams and individuals throughout the years in many sports and non-sports related activities.
The greatest experience of which has been doing in-game sideline photography of the NFL's Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins. The greatest honor would be photographing your student athletes as they carry on the many fine traditions of our local athletic programs.
Mark Broom, Lead Photographer
Mark is a 1991 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. While at Meadowbrook he participated at the varsity level in golf, basketball, and track and field all 4 years. After high school an 8 year tour in the United States Air Force allowed him to play golf, basketball and softball in over 20 countries. He also played at the highest level available for every base that he was stationed in all sports. Still an avid golfer and now an Ohio Valley Photo photographer, Mark is committed to capturing action shots and portraits that are breathtaking.
John Charlton, Associate Photographer
A veteran of the local area sports scene for decades, John has worked doing play-by-play for AVC Communications and Whiz radio as well as previously serving as sports editor for The Daily Jeffersonian. John is currently the Sports Director for AVC Communications and is excited to be re-entering the world of sports photography. John is a avid golfer, a diehard Steelers fan and is looking forward to providing great sideline photo coverage of all area sports.
Natalie Gidcumb, Associate Photographer
Natalie Gidcumb is a 2007 graduate of John Glenn High School, where she participated in track & field all four years. At John Glenn, Natalie also wrote and photographed for the High School newspaper, The Jon Jee, and she also served as yearbook editor during her junior and senior years. Natalie is currently attending Ohio State Newark, where she is pursuing a degree in photojournalism.
Natalie is very excited about her new position at Ohio Valley Photo and is looking forward to becoming a fixture on the sidelines at area sporting events. Natalie is the second youngest of four children and currently lives in Cambridge, Ohio with her parents, her younger brother Justin, two dogs and two cats.
